Mr. Staeven graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a minor in Computer Science. Immediately after receiving his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Staeven attended and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004.
Following law school, Mr. Staeven became a partner in a small Baltimore City law firm. Prior to joining Friedman, Framme & Thrush, Mr. Staeven practiced in the area of consumer and business bankruptcy cases, foreclosure prosecution and defense matters, litigation, and real estate transactions.
Mr. Staeven is active in the community by being on the board of directors for a woman’s recovery health system in Annapolis and holding several volunteer positions at Bay Area Community Church in Annapolis.
Mr. Staeven is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the MSBA Consumer Bankruptcy Law Section. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland, the United States District Court of Maryland, and is pending admission to the District of Columbia bar.
