Shereka Banks received her B.A. degree in 2013 from North Carolina Central University and her J.D. degree in 2016 from University of Richmond School of Law. Ms. Banks is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. Upon graduating in 2016, Ms. Banks accepted a two-year clerkship position for a Circuit Court Judge in the State of Maryland. Upon completion of her clerkship, Ms. Banks began litigating in the areas of criminal and family law. Ms. Banks is a member of the Virginia State Bar and Virginia State Bar Family Law Section. Ms. Banks devotes a large portion of her practice on family law. She has handled the full range of domestic cases, including complex and high asset divorces, custody, and visitation cases, spousal and child support matters, adoptions, guardianship, etc.
